Loot: October 2010
Better late than never.. or rather, I almost completely forgot about this post.
Not to say that my loot is completely dismissable, but I just had so much going on lately..
And with that said, let’s move on.
Again, compared to previous months, my loot seems to shrink and shrink, but it really doesn’t bring that much sadness to my face, actually. Sure, it might have to do a little with the fact that December will be a batshit crazy month, as manufacturers like to think that just because it’s holiday season, we’re loaded with money. Hence tons of items are getting announced (and still at this moment!) with a release date of late December.. oh joy indeed.
I did try to take a step back at ordering figures, as you might have noticed, since I cancelled several pre-orders on Nendoroids, or ‘transferred’ my orders to others in case they were hard-to-get items, and it felt really good. Because I’m slowly realizing again that figures aren’t for me, and probably will never be. Because if I will never properly display them, nor have the guts to do so, then what’s the use?
Though, I made a bit of improvement, check out my braveness!

Touko is indeed a new acquisition, and a really cute one at that, too. Now that I have her, I don’t think any figure will ever come closer to me liking more, so with that I’ve also fixed the issue of whether to continue buyings figures or not.
The K-ON! CD ‘Houkago Tea Time II Limited Edition’ was really just a lucky catch. I somehow came across it when it had almost already sold out everywhere, and while I’m not the biggest K-ON! fan around (but a húúúge Mugi lover, she’s the best queer sailor, ever), I did notice it would be a nice collector’s item, so I jumped on it when I saw the chance.. And really, a casette-tape? Such a novelty item..
The rest of the items were just printed materials, excluding the Angel Beats DVD 5 Limited Edition (thank god only two more left..), and not really that interesting, (okay, the first manga volume of Hetalia Axis Powers and Honey and Clover, which is hopefully as good as its anime counterpart), if it weren’t for the extras that came with them. The Dengeki Bunko for last month had a special on Ore Imouto, contained a small booklet on the series, a huge poster of the main cast, plus a pass case(?).
The Index guide was quite a surprise, I expected it to be a lot bigger, but it did came with a segment on Railgun and a DVD (containing the first episode of the first season, plus some promos on the upcoming PSP games), so I guess all is fine. As you can never have too much Mikoto.. but EVERYTHING needs more Accelerator!
There’s still one thing on the main picture that I haven’t discussed, but I’ll have to save that one for later..
