Pre-orders: Please stop me now..
Figured it was about time I made a new list, as you could say I kind of went crazy lately with pre-orders, and I’m surely it will result in some outrageous results on my bill. *gulp*
Remember my prospectus of not trying to order that much anymore? Yes, I failed. Horribly failed. But how can you resist, when it’s these cute creatures you have the option to choose from? This time I’ll leave the funny talk, trying to keep it short..
The original list was actually somewhat longer, but the more I thought about it, the less I actually cared about it, therefore, I canceled some of my orders (scrapped were the Rinko Nendoroid as well as the Sebastian and Ciel Nendoroids from Kuroshitsuji. Why? Because all of a sudden it didn’t really matter anymore. First, they would have left a dent in my wallet, and second, there is just no reason why I actually need them. Like I already wondered many times before, why exactly is it me that needs these figures? I don’t do anything with them, really. Is it just something that came along, something I thought that was ‘necessary’ in this whole business? I don’t know. And the longer I look at the list, the more I regret some of the orders I placed. (Yes, partly because amiami’s such a pain when trying to cancel orders..) Looking back, I hope this all was some sort of ‘silly’ phase, and please don’t take this as an offense when you’re a fanatic figure collector, but I think I’ve moved on from it all. Maybe it was just something I ‘needed’, to show me again what kind of a person I had become. So whenever I see something that has caught my eye, I’ll think twice and ask myself why and then, I’ll do it all over again. (And now after I’ve finished writing this, I’m also heavily contemplating that Yuki. Why was it again? Amiami, have mercy.)

So I did wonder a bit why I ordered her again, because I actually had set my eyes on the long-haired Haruhi one, but when I saw her colored version, I wasn’t that excited anymore. Yuki, on the other hand, is adorable. But only time will tell if I’ll still have a place in my heart for her when the cold winter arrives..

Since the Mayoi Nendoroid was the first figure that tempted me to start buying figures, I of course was interested when this one got announced. Not familiar with Movic’s quality, of course. Because I saw some pictures of this particular figure that recently surfaced.. and I’m not so sure if I still should be that happy about it.

Okay, I wasn’t a real big fan of those Haruhi-chan shorts, but since I did have a weakness for Tsuruya-san.. and come on, isn’t Kimidori (yes, the dog, not the girl) the cutest thing ever? (Ahhh.. and not even Koizumi??)
And.. a few small other things, but they’re not that significant, or either planned for next year. (Yes, like that is going to make stopping this even easier..) Hopefully this will be one of the last *long* pre-order lists I have to make.. ~ See you in December!
